RSC Fellow comments on toxic dumping scandal

RSC Fellow, John Hoskins, speaks to the BBC's Newsnight on the 'biggest toxic dumping scandal of the 21st century'. 

The BBC reports that in 2006 the toxic waste that was dumped on the Ivory Coast's biggest city, Abidjan, contained tons of phenols which can cause death by contact and tons of hydrogen sulphide, lethal if inhaled in high concentrations.

Hoskins relates how a similar incident in central London would affect millions and reach out as far as the M25.
