In the past year, RSC-funded outreach directly reached over 45,000 school children, creating lasting memories of chemistry. We awarded 158 early-career scientists research grants to kickstart their careers in academia. We paid for travel, training, and caring responsibility cover, so that hundreds of technicians and scientists could make even greater contributions to chemistry. We are also championing the chemistry community's role in the future of a UN panel on chemical pollution, for the benefit of everyone on the planet.
