Science Jamboree for hundreds of pupils
The East Kent Science Jamboree took place on 10 and 11 June. It’s one of a range of events we sponsor as part of Chemistry at Work, where school children are invited to interact with local organisations and companies based in the chemical sciences. Hundreds of children attended the Science Jamboree at Discovery Park in Kent, where chemistry demonstrations were staged for a huge audience, and the young students were also invited to try a range of hands-on experiments.
The event was organised by John Coad of Kent Festival of Science and activities were supported by Discovery Park tenants, such as model train company Hornby and science companies Tetrad Discovery, Agalimmune, Peakdale Molecular, and Pfizer.
