Now runs the project modules and operations on the pilot plant. Also runs all continuing professional development training that takes place on the plant (including with OPCW).
Dr Katie Costello
Former member of student and member of staff at the university, School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, University of Surrey
Used to run the module and operations on the plant. Now employed by Fluor.
Dr Kalliopi (Kelly) Kousi
Lecturer, School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, University of Surrey
Helps run operations on the plant and the modules.
Ben Gibbons
School Technical Manager, School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, University of Surrey
Leads the technical team that run the pilot plant during its operation.
Dr David Faraday
Former member of staff, School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, University of Surrey
Designed the pilot plant (and also the undergraduate teaching labs). Created all technical operating aspects of the pilot plant (operational and the teaching modules) and also a business process simulation. Now works for evolve Leadteam Ltc.
Professor Rex Thorpe
Emeritus Professor., School of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, University of Surrey
Helped develop the pilot plant project. Has led the use of the plant in continuing professional development opportunities, so beyond just the undergraduate curriculum e.g. with the FLUOR project and OPCW programme.
Marco Holness
Faculty Operating Officer, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, University of Surrey
Oversaw the project to develop and build the new pilot plant.
