The Higher Education Technical Excellence Award (previously the Higher Education Technician of the Year) recognised individuals or teams demonstrating exceptional contributions to technical support within the HE sector.
This prize was discontinued in 2020, as part of a series of changes introduced following an independent review of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s recognition programmes.
For current recognition opportunities for technicians and those working in technical roles, read more about our Technical Excellence Prizes or our Excellence in Education Prizes.
