Fast oxygen uptake/release over a new CeO_x phase

The authors report that they found, due to contamination from the glass apparatus used in the processing of ceria, some Si (0.5-2 wt.%) in the final material. The reduced phase containing Ce³⁺ can be better formulated as a mixture of CeO_x and Ce_9.33(SiO₄)₆O₂. Full details will be published in a forthcoming paper.
