Supramolecular hydrogels based on β-amino acid derivatives

Some β-amino acid nomenclature in this paper is incorrect. What the authors termed ‘β³-HAla’ or ‘β³-alanine’ is actually β-HGly or β-homoglycine (a traditional name for this β-amino acid is ‘β-alanine’, but use of ‘β-homoglycine’ is more consistent with modern usage.) What the authors termed ‘β³-HPhe’ or ‘β³-phenylalanine’ should actually be ‘β³-HPhg’ or ‘β³-homophenylglycine’; it should be noted that this β-amino acid was racemic. The authors thank Prof. S. H. Gellman for comments on β-amino acid nomenclature.
