The authors would like to publish the following corrigenda:

In the main text of the manuscript, we wrote: "the reported Zn(OTf)₂-catalyzed cycloaddition of 2-aryl-N-tosylaziridine to organic carbonyls¹³ does not give consistent results" (2nd paragraph, 4th sentence); reference 13 refers to a paper by Singh et al. published in J. Org. Chem., 2007, 72, 2133-2142. Subsequently, Dr Vinod K. Singh, the corresponding author of reference 13, contacted us to contest our statement with newly reproduced results from his own lab. We additionally suspected that the source of Zn(OTf)₂ may be an issue and carried out several experiments with multiple sources of Zn(OTf)₂ to elucidate potential discrepancies. Although we have not been able to reproduce the results reported by Singh and coworkers exactly, our new results approach closer to theirs for a closely related source of Zn(OTf)₂. The main reason for the variation in yields could be due to the source and purity of Zn(OTf)₂, which are known to affect the reactivity of this reagent in an erratic manner. Detailed reports of our follow-up studies are shown in the Electronic Supplementary Information for this corrigendum.

In footnote (d) of Table S1, the reference citation is incorrect and should read as follows: "^dReported results by Singh et al. in ref. 13 of the main text."
