The rate of incident photon at 440 nm reported in this paper in the ESI (as well as in J. Catal., 2010, 280, 1-7) was underestimated, and is now revised from 1.71× 1020 to 5.81 × 1020 photons h–1. Consequently, the apparent quantum efficiency of H2 evolution under 440 nm irradiation given in this paper should be corrected from 8.8% to 2.6%. The cause of this underestimation is our calculation process in which the spectral profile of 440 nm light as a function of wavelength is integrated to convert the number of incident photons. We wrongly integrated the spectral data, which was acquired using a spectroradiometer (EKO, LS-100), with an integration step of 1 nm, even though the actual step was 3 nm. We apologize for this mistake, and would like to report here the corrected value.
