The wrong values for the carrier mobility of positive charges were given. The correct values are 2 x 10-2 and 7 x 10-2 cm2 V-1 s-1 for the Colho and metastable mesophases respectively, rather than 2 x 10-1 and 7–4 x cm2 V-1 s-1 as stated (page 6292, LHS, lines 28-29).
