Computational electrochemistry: aqueous one-electron oxidation potentials for substituted anilines
Paul Winget, Eric J. Weber, Christopher J. Cramer and Donald G. Truhlar
Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys., 2000, 2, 1231. Amendment published 10th March 2000
Pulse radiolysis experiments of Jonsson et al.1 were not included in the authors' listing of experimental measurements for aqueous oxidation potentials of substituted anilines. In addition to confirming the accuracy of prior measurements and providing new data, Jonsson et al. also noted a linear relationship between oxidation potentials and Brown p+ substituent constants.
