On p. 2215, in the penultimate paragraph of Section 2 (starting "For a certain atom…"), the freestanding equation should correctly read:

τ_CT = (I_Raman/I_Auger)τ_ch

Also, in the penultimate sentence of this paragraph, the equation in the text should correctly read:

τ_CT = τ_ch(1/f^–1_Raman – 1)
