The NMR data for compound 8 should read: ¹H NMR (500 MHz, solvent CDCl₃, reference CHCl₃) δ 10.4 (1H, s), 8.0 (1H, d), 7.6 (3H, m), 3.2 (3H, s), 3.0 (3H, s). ¹³C NMR (125 MHz, solvent CDCl₃, reference CDCl₃) δ_C 190.7, 164.7, 137.3, 136.9, 133.4, 132.0, 129.6, 128.1, 36.7 (br, splits into 2 signals at −45 ^oC).
