The extinction coefficient of compound 3b at 428 nm and the photochemical quantum yield of 3a to 3b, presented in Table 1, should be corrected to ε = 2.2 (±0.1) [104 M-1 cm-1] and Φoc = ca. 0.2, respectively. Compound 3b sample tends to include impurities which seem to form after thermal and/or photochemical decomposition. The authors acknowledge Prof. Masahiro Irie for his valuable comments.
