The event has been a successful initiative that has run since shortly after the Scottish Parliament was established. It brings politicians and other policy makers into contact with a broad range of scientists and engineers from across Scotland. It attracts over 300 delegates annually, and over 30 organisations normally take part in the exhibition.
There will be plenary lectures and an exhibition involving organisations across the scientific and engineering community.
The event will be of interest to MSPs, civil servants, and a wide range of people from the scientific community who wish to engage with and inform decision makers of some of the important issues for science in Scotland.
