Introduction

This International Symposium held every 3 years and organised by the International Isotope Society covers the synthesis and production of isotopes and isotopically labelled compounds and the major applications of these in clinical and non-clinical areas. Some of the main areas are in Imaging, Drug Metabolism, Pharmacokinetics, Whole Body Autoradiography, PET studies and in the field of Clinical Diagnostics.
