Year 12 chemistry students (maximum 6 per school) are invited to the School of Physical Sciences at the University of Kent for a taste of University Chemistry. You will hear about the chemistry courses offered and research taking place at the university, specifically the work they carry out with Organic Light Emitting Diodes. You will get the opportunity to use our recently refurbished teaching labs to synthesise your own glowing material and learn how to use analytical techniques to collect vital characterisation data. The day will also include a short campus tour.
