Introduction

Presaging the 250th anniversary of the founding of Carron Ironworks Falkirk, Andrew Ainsworth will tell the story of a local hero who made a significant contribution to the Industrial revolution and to Chemical processing in particular. The event will be held in the exhibition area, Scottish Railway Preservation Society, Bo'ness .It will be preceded by guided tours of the exhibition and a light buffet Please wear sensible footwear if taking the tour.
