Emerging Technologies Showcase 2015 is our flagship event focused on innovation, which features our Emerging Technologies Competition finalists.
Thirty small companies and academic entrepreneurs from across Europe will pitch their latest technologies for a chance win one of the nine prizes consisting of one-to-one business support from multinational companies and up to £20,000 each.
Our visionary speakers, including Mark Miodownik and Jaideep Prabhu will talk about future trends in healthcare, sustainability and materials, and design-led innovation.
Sherry Coutu CBE will conclude the event with a keynote speech and the announcement of the competition winners at the world famous BAFTA 195 Piccadilly.

Angel investor; Director, London Stock Exchange
Sherry Coutu is a former CEO and angel investor who serves on the boards of companies, charities and universities including Raspberry Pi, Zoopla and the London Stock Exchange Group. In 2013 she was awarded a CBE for "Services to Entrepreneurship".
Mark Miodownik
UCL Institute of Making
Mark Miodownik is Professor of Materials & Society and Director of the Institute of Making at UCL where he teaches and runs a research group. His current research areas include smart materials, innovative manufacturing, and sensoaesthetic materials.
Jaideep Prabhu
Judge Business School
Jaideep Prabhu is Professor of Marketing and Jawaharlal Nehru Professor of Indian Business at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. He is the co-author of Jugaad Innovation: Think Frugal, Be Flexible, Generate Breakthrough Growth, described by The Economist as “the most comprehensive book yet” on the subject of frugal innovation.
