Thames Valley Section Lecture 'The Chemists' War' by Michael Freemantle and AGM

Introduction
Thames Valley section AGM to be held at the Oxford University Careers Service followed by a talk from popular science writer, Michael Freemantle, which tells the stories of the influential chemists during the First World War and explains how their work underpinned and shaped what became known as 'The Chemists’ War'.

There will be light refreshments from 6.30 pm. The AGM will start at 7 pm and will be followed by the talk (~7.30 pm).
