Introduction
The lecture will cover the history and development of motor racing fuels both for Formula 1 and other major motor racing series. It will also include discussion of work that was carried out to develop three dimensional carbon chain compounds suitable for use as explosive fuels for 1000bhp 1.5 litre turbo engines.
