Oxford Global Conferences are proud to present the Cell Culture & Bioprocessing Asia Congress, taking place on the 15th – 16th October 2015 in Singapore. The event is a unique opportunity for over 150 experts working in cell culture and cell line development, cell line engineering, bioprocessing and biotherapeutic production to discuss the latest updates and research results in order to improve the industry’s performance.

The Asia-Pacific cell culture market is currently in the era of becoming the fastest growing region of the global cell culture industry. The steady growth of the industry is fuelled by the expanding investment in cell culture research & development, rising government funding and increased outsourcing of biopharmaceutical manufacturing to this region. It has also been highlighted that the growth of the Asia-Pacific region will highly contribute to the growth of the whole cell culture industry that is forecasted to reach $6.3 billion in 2018.

Day one of the congress will explore advances in cell culture and cell line development. Presentations will cover updates in cell line engineering, selection and authentication as well as overcoming cell line contamination challenges. Our highly esteemed speakers will also discuss cell culture in 3D as well as novel strategies to optimise cell line performance.

Day two will tap into the hot areas of bioprocessing and biological production. Delegates will have the unique chance to acquire a deeper understanding of upstream and downstream bioprocessing as well as novel approaches to quality-by-design. Scale-up and scale-down strategies, disposable and analytical technologies will also be addressed
