Introduction

This 2 day course is designed to give an overview of the development of chemical processes for the supply of active pharmaceutical ingredients for human consumption both in clinical trials and commercial manufacture. Particular emphasis is placed on the differences between a laboratory procedure and an economically viable manufacturing process.
