West of Scotland Chemistry Teacher/Ambassador Networking Event

25 February 2016 16:30-18:30, Glasgow, United Kingdom

Introduction
Science Connects is hosting a Teacher / STEM Ambassador Networking event in association with Royal Society of Chemistry on Thursday 25th February at 4:30-6:30pm at the University of Glasgow.

This event will give you the opportunity to meet and network with Chemistry related STEM Ambassadors and teachers and make connections to inspire pupils in magical world of Chemistry!

The RSC is proud to be celebrating their 175th anniversary during 2016 and want to mark this milestone by recognising the rich heritage and community of which we're all a part. To help celebrate the 175th anniversary, RSC members and supporters around the world are asked to give 175 minutes of their time to chemistry, through outreach or supporting communities.

With the 175 Pledge in mind, your local Education Coordinator will highlight to both teachers and Chemistry ambassadors the opportunities and support available to engage young people with Chemistry outreach and will bring along hands on activities for you to try out for yourselves and share ideas and best practise at this twilight event. Hopefully this will inspire you to contribute your 175 minutes!

Venue to be confirmed and more information to follow soon, but register now to ensure you have a place!
