The environment faces many challenges and the aim of this symposium is to present a wide range of these environmental challenges. Presentations will address hazards, processes and impacts in the natural environment, the interaction of engineered nanomaterials with biological and environmental systems, and innovative technologies that promote sustainable water resources in the built environment.
Leading researchers from around the world will present their research, and we look forward to the sharing of ideas and experiences to better understand the interaction between natural and human environmental systems.
As a world’s leading chemistry community, the Royal Society of Chemistry is proud to collaborate with the host institutes to organise two International Symposia on Environmental Science. The symposium in Hangzhou is supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry and Zhejiang University, and is hosted by Prof Lizhong Zhu from Zhejiang University.
Editors from the three Environmental Science journals published by the Royal Society of Chemistry will be presenting their latest research, and will also be available to discuss the journals. More information about Environmental Science: Processes & Impacts, Environmental Science: Nano and Environmental Science: Water Research & Technology is available on our website.
