This short course is aimed at analysts who are required to develop assay methods for analytes in challenging matrices and would like a better idea of the very wide range of sample preparation techniques that are available. Starting with a few important pointers on sampling, the course will cover techniques that can be used to separate and pre-concentrate analytes based on polarity, solubility, charge, functionality, molecular size or a combination of two or more mechanisms. This course will help you to select an appropriate sample preparation strategy from the wide range of techniques that are available.
