Come and meet with the admissions tutor for the School of Chemistry at the University of Birmingham. They will take you on a tour of the school and talk frankly about Chemistry at University; the various course options (not just at Birmingham), the career paths that can follow and importantly, how to get onto a course in the first place.
Bring lots of questions: what are the admissions tutors are looking for in a personal statement? What happens if you miss your grades? How do you impress in an interview....... and anything else!
The event is followed by a free Sixth Form Lecture organised by West Midlasnds Chemistry Teachers Centre: "Mercury: Window on the invisible" given by Prof Andrea Sella from UCL. This is a fantastic opportunity and not to be missed!
