Although the university does have plenty of parking spaces, they have taken to charging for parking at all times of the day or night. However, there are a lot of free parking spaces on the street in front of the Parkinson Building (Woodhouse Lane) after 6.00 pm. Alternatively, you may wish to park on Clarendon Road and then it’s a 5 min walk through the university grounds towards the Parkinson Building. The Michael Sadler Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre is on the right, before the main archway.
Warning: please do not park on any university grounds as you will find that you will be issued a parking ticket even after 6.00 pm in the evening.There will be an opportunity for a Q&A session after the lecture.
- Time: 6.30 pm for a 7.00 pm start. Tea and coffee will be available on arrival
