Thames Water is delighted to be able to offer free visits to our Education Centres located at four operational sewage works. Students will learn about the science and engineering that goes on behind the scenes and hear about the different career and job opportunities in one of the UKs largest water company.
Teachers can select a program that’s suits their students requirements tailoring the activities for KS2 up to KS5 on topics directly related to the curriculum:

They can cater for Yr7 – Yr13, the visit would be to enhance and embed their chemistry so students can see the range of roles and application of chemistry in industry.
The two main sites that the workshops will take place are Hogsmill STW (Surbiton) and Slough STW.
