Introduction

This free conference is suitable for students in Year 10 upwards. The first two talks will be given by postgraduate chemists on areas aligned with their research. Prof Tim Gallagher (Dean of Science, University of Bristol) will give a thought provoking talk on ‘The Pharmaceutical Industry’ and the event will end with a lecture demonstration on ‘Chemical Kinetics’ given by Tim Harrison (Bristol).
