Introduction

The use of sensors in the Wastewater Network has been sparse and far between. The complexity of wastewater collection has meant that this development within the Wastewater industry has been delayed. However with the requirement for event duration monitoring, improvements in sensor technologies and modelling software, the industry is starting to develop improved methods of managing the Wastewater Network.​
