Wessex Group Chemistry Teachers' Conference

This is an annual event run by Chemistry at the University of Southampton in collaboration with the Maths and Science Learning Centre and Wessex Group of 6th Form Colleges.  The aim is to give Post-16 teachers the opportunity to take a day out of school/college to spend time with colleagues from elsewhere and share good practice.  This year the programme includes a session on the new A level specifications and their impact. Chemistry teachers from any school or college are welcome to attend. There is no charge for attending this event, which is open to all teachers of post-16 chemistry in any type of school or college. Please contact Beth Anderson (beth.anderson@bristol.ac.uk) if you are interested in applying for the travel bursary for teachers from the Isle of Wight.

This event is open to all schools but we are able to offer a travel bursary for teachers from LCP schools in the Isle of Wight.
