The fifteenth Chemistry in the Oil Industry Symposium (CITOI XV) is organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry Speciality Chemicals Sector interest group with continued valued support from the European Oilfield Speciality Chemicals Association.
The Symposium is an international technical conference focussed on all aspects of the oil and gas industry where chemistry is the main focus and solutions via chemistry are sought.
With the oil industry still coming to terms with the downturn, the emphasis now is on efficiencies and New Chemistry to enhance the profitability of new fields or to extend the economic life of mature wells. The industry’s responsibility to do this safely and with due concern for the environment is paramount.
