I am Nicola Jordan, the RSC Education Coordinator for the West of Scotland. I am looking for volunteers from the RSC to do some activities around the theme of ‘The Chemistry of Glowsticks’ with attendees and their families at a festival in Inverary Castle.
There will be short activities that participants can do to provide the opportunity to think about how Chemistry is relevant to their lives - even if they don't consider themselves 'scientific'.
WHAT: Best of the West Festival http://www.bowfest.co.uk/
WHEN: Saturday 9th of September 11am - 9pm
Volunteers would be scheduled for approximately two and a half hours and then be free to see the festival for the remainder of the day. A briefing pack will be provided and training will be provided on the day.
WHERE: Inverary Castle, Inverary, PA 32 8XF
HOW: If you are interested in being involved, or would like more information, then please get in touch with me at Nicola.Jordan@glasgowsciencecentre.org
