The 24th Conference on Isoprenoids is organized jointly by the University of Białystok, Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Polish Chemical Society, Organic Chemistry Division. The main purpose of the Conferences on Isoprenoids is to promote research at the interface of chemistry, biology and medicine as well as industrial ventures. The conferences facilitate the networking and cooperation between researchers from different countries and provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and promoting new ideas. The conferences have hosted many eminent chemists, including the Nobel Price laureates - Derek H. R. Barton and Ryoji Noyori. In recent years the formula of the conferences has changed. It achieved the character of the pan-European event. The conference is usually attended by about 120 scientists from all over the world. Friendly open atmosphere and personal contacts between the participants made easy by informal discussions and social events are specific features of the conference.
The event is recognised by EuCheMS, the Isoprenoid Society and the Phytochemical Society of Europe. The complete information about the Conference is given on the website http://isoprenoids-24.uwb.edu.pl/.
