Professor Chris Husbands, Vice-Chancellor, invites you to attend an event in celebration of 50 years of Chemistry at Sheffield Hallam University.
This event will mark 50 years since Sheffield Hallam's first Chemistry degree and will offer you the opportunity to come back to Sheffield Hallam, reunite with fellow alumni, meet current students and reminisce with current and former staff.
Professor Chris Husbands will open the event, before introducing Professor Sir John Holman, the President of Royal Society of Chemistry, who will deliver a talk and lead a discussion on 'The Future of Chemical Sciences'.
A drinks reception in the newly opened Hertha Ayrton STEM Centre Atrium will follow, featuring tours of the chemistry lab as well as a nostalgic presentation of images and documents gathered from across the decades.
Date: Monday 27 November
6 pm for 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm
Pennine Lecture Theatre, City Campus.
