5th SMILE 2018 & ICBAM 2018
School of Chemical Sciences and Food Technology, UKM (PPSKTM) will host the 5th International Conference on Oils and Fats 2018 (5th SMILE 2018) & International Conference on Biobased Advanced Materials 2018 (ICBAM 2018) to gather scientists who are actively research on the theme of renewable materials including oils and fats from around the world. With the theme of ‘Emerging Research Beyond Boundaries‘, this conference is expected to serve as a platform for participants to share knowledge and experiences in cross-disciplinary and high impact research.

The conference will be held at the Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya which is located in Bangi area and the state of Selangor (the most developed state in Malaysia). Bangi is known as a ‘city of knowledge’. Located just 20 minutes driving from Kuala Lumpur and 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
