The race to Zero emission- Hydrogen Fuel cells vs Battery electric. Why both might be winners

12 March 2018 18:00-20:00, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
Up until a few years ago the long-term future of the internal combustion engine was never in doubt but now with 'Dieselgate', the success of Tesla and the ever increasing concern of the societal health costs of emissions from internal combustion engines most car manufacturers and legislators appear to agree that the long-term future is electric.  The lecture will look at competing electrification technologies:  batteries and hydrogen fuel cells and attempt to predict what might happen in the electrification race.
