Welcome to the 5th Organic Chemistry Frontiers International Symposium to be held on April 23rd of 2018 at Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China.
Organic Chemistry Frontiers International Symposia are a series of conferences sponsored by Organic Chemistry Frontiers, a collaborative journal developed by the Chinese Chemical Society, Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry and the Royal Society of Chemistry. Previous meetings were held in Shanghai (2014), Zhejiang (2015) and Oxford (2016) and Kunming (2017).
Organic Chemistry Frontiers International Symposia are devoted to the recent advances and new trends in contemporary organic chemistry, especially the preparation of functional organic materials, the development of innovative synthetic methodologies, and the design of high-performance catalysts as well as their further applications into organic synthesis.
This year’s meeting is co-organized by the Royal Society of Chemistry and the State Key Laboratory of Applied Organic Chemistry, Lanzhou University. A selection of lectures from Organic Chemistry Frontiers Editorial Board members and invited local speakers will be featured in this one-day event. We hope that this symposium will provide an ideal forum for exchange of ideas and experiences, fostering new research collaborations between leading Chinese and international experts.
