Teachers: we need your opinions! (Secondary, Science/Chemistry)
The Royal Society of Chemistry’s Curriculum and Assessment Working Groups aim to develop a comprehensive view of an appropriate school chemistry curriculum. We are not advocating for immediate curriculum change, rather we are aiming to engage meaningfully with consultations and other discussions relating to curriculum and qualification reform, as and when this occurs.
In this free event, teachers will have an opportunity to join a focus group to review some of our work and give feedback at an early stage in the process. We are keen to get as wide a range of views as possible.
This is a unique opportunity to influence future change. Step back from the everyday and think about how a chemistry curriculum can be structured and how this can help us share our excitement about chemistry with students.
The session will be interactive and is suitable for teachers of secondary chemistry. Information will be provided in advance for teachers to read.
Refreshments will be provided.
