Introduction
Do you want to know how to have a difficult conversation where both parties remain calm and reach an amicable resolution?

Do you avoid difficult conversations because you find them challenging?

If you answer yes to these questions, then Verbal Aikido may be the solution to your problem.

The Management Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry will host a workshop called "Mastering the Art of Verbal Aikido".  Using the principles of this ancient martial art, you will learn how to manage disagreements constructively and gain confidence in having difficult conversations.

By the end of the workshop, you will gain skills to diffuse altercations, increase your chance of success without alienating the other party and build your personal resilience.

This workshop is aimed line managers or future line managers who may at some point have to undertake a difficult conversation with a work colleague.

Please arrive by 18:00 hours as the the workshop will commence at 18:15 hours.

For the workshop to be effective, numbers will be limited to 25 delegates.
