The RSC Law Group will be holding its tenth annual and highly popular IP case law seminar on Monday, 26 November 2018 from 1pm at Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1J 0BA. We will be focussing on recent high profile developments in the world of intellectual property law, all with a chemical flavour. The seminar will cover developments at the EPO and in the UK, as well as touching on the ever changing SPC landscape.
Our excellent speakers include Jocelyn Man (Gilead), Joanna Peak (Boult Wade Tennant), Rob Whittock (Hardwicke Chambers), Alexandra Pygall (Stephenson Harwood), Mark Abthorpe (Kilburn & Strode) and Joseph Lenthall (Haseltine Lake).
Our speakers will be discussing topics including updates on SPCs and from the EPO Boards of Appeal, Warner-Lambert v Generics (UK) and Actavis (UK Supreme Court), the patentability of chemical compositions – novelty of overlapping ranges, as well as providing a run through of interesting IP cases with a chemistry flavour, covering a range of IP rights.
