The CSI represents a historic forum among scientists for presentation/discussion of recent developments in all branches of Spectroscopy. The Local Organizing Committee is preparing an exciting scientific program that can bring together scientists, students and industry specialists from different research fields related to spectroscopy.
In addition, the CSI provides the opportunity to hold the first LAMLIBS -Latin‐American Meeting on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy- which seeks to bring together the largest possible number of groups from Latin America working on LIBS to promote the collaboration and strategic alliances to solve specific problems and challenges.
Mexico City is a place where modernity meets the pre-Hispanic and colonial roots of the Mexican people, making it an excellent destination for both academic and tourism purposes.
IUPAC support is provided to facilitate the attendance of promising young scientists from Latin American Countries.
