Join us in Uppsala for the 2019 Nordic Bruker XRD user meeting on June 12-13, 2019.
This lunchtime-to-lunchtime meeting provides a forum for interaction amongst Nordic Bruker XRD users as well as interaction with applications, product and service specialists. The technical theme is focussed on the latest advances in detector technology and, importantly, the applications enabled by said advances. We will dive into state-of-the-art high energy resolution detectors and large area detectors. A wide range of applications will be covered, from chemical powder crystallography to steel and pharma.
It is our pleasure to present invited user talks by Dr David Wragg (University of Oslo and RECX), Dr Fredrik Lindberg (Swerim AB), and Dr Mikael Ottosson (Uppsala University) in addition to talks and demonstrations by specialists from Bruker and Blue Scientific. Moreover, users are encouraged to bring posters on all topics of XRD to the evening session, which will allow us to mingle, discuss, learn and expand our networks. There will of course be plenty of opportunities for discussion during the extended coffee breaks as well.
An extracurricular session will be held on Thursday afternoon, where application, product and service specialists will be available for additional discussions, Q&A and tips and tricks on both software and hardware. We may also be able to arrange individual discussions in conjunction with this meeting on request.
The meeting is free of charge and special rates for accommodation are available.
We look forward to meeting you in Uppsala in June!
