StrongWomen Science is a brand new circus science show starring two women scientists turned circus performers. We are delighted to be performing at Cork Carnival of Science at Fitzgerald Park. In a fun, lively and fast-paced family circus performance, find out how jugglers, acrobats and hula hoop artists use science to create their amazing acts. Ever wanted to know how you balance a chair on your chin, if you can juggle liquid, or how circus performers eat fire? StrongWomen Aoife (an engineer) and Maria (an environmental scientist) reveal the astounding tricks behind their scientific secrets. Cork Carnival of Science sets about creating and delivering a large public engagement event that will intertwine science, engineering and maths with playful learning in a fun, open and easily accessible environment.
