As the world’s leading chemistry society, the Royal Society of Chemistry is committed to supporting the whole chemistry community around the world, including the next generation.
To inspire future generations of chemical scientists and encourage the in-depth communication between younger people, this year, we are delighted to launch a novel academic activity with Tsinghua University - RSC – THU PreDoc Symposium, which will be held in Beijing in December.
The forum is specifically designed to create a platform for the participants to share their discoveries in chemistry-related research areas, propose interdisciplinary ideas focusing on “Innovative Chemistry for a Prosperous Future”, and encourage discussion and networking between experts and young talents.
The forum is a one-day programme mainly targeting graduate and postgraduate students, and consists of oral and poster presentations. In addition, established professors will be invited to give talks to share their knowledge and experience with the younger generation of researchers. RSC Fellows and RSC staff will form the judging panel.
This forum will be organized by students from Tsinghua University – RSC student club with strong support from RSC China office and Chemistry Department of Tsinghua University. Post graduates and outstanding undergraduates in Beijing are all welcomed to join the event.
The forum itself is free to attend, but an online registration in advance is required. Please use the "Book Now" button on the top right to register your attendance.
If you wish to be part of this exciting opportunity to share your research and develop your network, you are encouraged to deliver an oral talk and/or a poster presentation. Please use the "Book Now" button on the top right to submit your abstract for oral/poster session.
