The West Midlands Chemistry Teachers' Centre invites applications to take part in this year's Chemistry Quiz. The winning team will receive the Regional Trophy, a prize of £80 for their school and an Amazon Voucher to the value of £20.00 for each member of their team. The second placed team will receive £50 for their school, and a £10 Amazon Voucher for each team member. Each member of the third and fourth placed teams will receive a £7.50 Amazon Voucher.
The Quiz will have the same format as March 2019 with rounds of Chemistry questions put to individuals or the whole team. All teams will compete with each other.
Teams are to consist of two Year 10 and two Year 11 students, and each school may enter one team.
The Quiz will take place at the University of Birmingham in the School of Chemistry on Tuesday 3rd March 2020 beginning at 6.15 pm and finishing about 9.15 pm.
To enter a team please reply by no later than 30th November 2019.
