Synopsis
The International Network of Environmental Forensics (INEF) is a network of scientists, environmental consultants, regulators and lawyers to share information regarding the use of environmental forensics. The 10th conference will be a combination of plenary presentations, and oral and poster technical sessions. The event will provide an opportunity for people of all experiences to learn from environmental forensic experts practicing and researching in this field.
Interested in presenting at our conference?
We welcome abstracts on all areas of environmental forensics, including chemistry, biology, statistics, and legal. Abstracts are welcome from forensic practitioners working in academia, industry and the public sector. Submissions should be written from a strong technical background and should clearly demonstrate a familiarity with the related work and field. A template to assist you prepare your abstract is available. Abstracts should be no longer than one A4 page in portrait layout. The title of the abstract should be as concise as possible and co-authors and affiliations listed. The use of figures, graphs and schemes is recommended where this aids the understanding of the text. If you are student and would like to be considered for the Student Presentation awards, please indicate so in your email transmission, with your abstract.
Student and Early Career Researcher Travel Grants
If you are a student or early career researcher you may be eligible to apply for an RSC travel grant to attend this conference. Please note that any application must go through the Environment, Sustainability and Energy Division of the RSC. Any RSC members that were unsuccessful with the above application are invited to email Dr David Megson (d.megson@mmu.ac.uk) to discuss alternative funding options.
Accomodation
A number of bedrooms have been held at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers Hotel, Orestads Boulevard 114-118, Copenhagen, Denmark. Rooms are available to book online, and the release date is 1st June.
