Introduction

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is committed to connecting the world of science to advance chemical knowledge for a better future. One of our aims is to support and nurture the careers of our members and chemists around the world.
 
Last year, with the purposes to support emerging and early career researchers, we initiated the 1st RSC Emerging Investigator Forum in Xiangshan, Beijing. This year, to celebrate 120^th anniversary of Soochow University and 10^th anniversary of RSC flagship journal Chemical Science, we are delighted to co-organize 2020 RSC Emerging Investigator Forum with Soochow University in September from 26 to 27. 
 
The forum will take place over the course of two days and comprise of four scientific sessions, two round table discussions and two publishing sessions (meet the editors). Participation in this forum is by invitation only and will be restricted to 30-40 emerging and early career researchers each day. We encourage active debates and discussions within the cutting-edge research field of organic synthesis & energy conversion. The following sub-topics will be encompassed:

• Radical Chemistry
• Asymmetric Catalysis
• Solar Cell
• Conjugated Optoelectronic Functional Materials
