The Online Nucleic Acids Forum 2021

Introduction
The aim of this online meeting is to bring together the wider Nucleic Acids community to discuss new research at the chemistry, physics and biology interface that involves the study of nucleic acids. The meeting is for all researchers, but is particularly aimed at new academic staff members, post-doctoral workers or PhD students who wish to communicate their latest findings.

This one-day online meeting consisting of short talks by younger scientists selected from the submitted abstracts and and poster sessions that will be held in dedicated breakout rooms in Zoom The meeting is inclusive and covers all aspects of nucleic acids biology, chemistry, biophysics and synthetic biology, including both basic and more translational science.

Talk abstracts

Talk abstracts should be prepared using the Word document template (available to download from this page) and should be sent by email to Marco Di Antonio  (m.di-antonio@imperial.ac.uk) by Friday 11th June 2021.

Accepted abstracts for short talks will be notified shortly after the deadline.

Poster abstracts

This will be open to all but there is still need to submit an abstract so that we can group poster sessions during the event as appropriate. Please use the Abstract template (available to download from this page) and send the filled template to Marco Di Antonio  (m.di-antonio@imperial.ac.uk) by Friday 2nd July 2021 for applying to present a poster. Please specify if you don't want your abstract to be considered for a talk if you are submitting this before the deadline for talk shortlisting (11th June 2021). This year the poster session will be in breakout rooms in Zoom, and within this you will be able to present the poster in the format you wish. Also, if you would like to engage with the community online, you can also present your poster on Twitter using the hashtag #RSCposter and #NAF2021, using a PDF, picture(s), video, thread etc.

Talks and posters will be both considered for prizes at the end of the forum!
